Experience Luxury and Efficiency: Tata Nexon iCNG Launched at ₹8.99 Lakh

The Tata Nexon iCNG has officially debuted with a starting price of ₹8.99 lakh, ex-showroom. In addition to the iCNG variant, the updated Nexon will feature enhancements for its EV model and Dark editions. The company has also rolled out improvements for the Nexon EV, which now offers an extended driving range. The new Red Dark edition is an addition to the current Dark variants.

Specifications

Equipped with a 1.2L turbo-petrol engine, the Nexon iCNG generates a maximum power output of 100 Hp and a torque of 170 Nm. It is paired with a 6-speed manual transmission, achieving an impressive fuel efficiency of 24 km/kg.

Features: Interior and exterior

This compact SUV showcases Tata Motors' innovative dual-cylinder technology, allowing for a convenient boot capacity of 321 litres. The spare tyre has been ingeniously relocated under the chassis, akin to the Punch iCNG. In terms of safety, the Nexon is well-equipped with six airbags, an Electronic Stability Program (ESP), and a host of other essential features standard across all variants. The introduction of CNG options also brings new amenities, including a panoramic sunroof and a 10.25-inch instrument cluster with navigation capabilities, available in a total of 8 variants.

The Nexon EV has also been enhanced with a larger 45 kWh battery, now offering a claimed range of 489 km, with real-world estimates between 350-370 km. The starting price for the Nexon EV is set at ₹13.99 lakh, ex-showroom.

Red Dark Edition

The striking Red Dark edition is designed to captivate, continuing Tata's successful trend with Dark Editions seen in models like the Harrier and Safari. The Nexon’s new look aims to offer a bold aesthetic and a refreshed interior ambience.
